Great Hearts Friendship Day
Great Hearts Day
Friday, February 18th
This Great Hearts Day, we will be expressing our friendship for one-another by picking our favorite quotes about friendship from our favorite pieces of literature.
Each house will have a designated a poster. Students will write a quotation about friendship from their favorite book on a notecard and will then glue the notecard onto their house’s poster. Students will also need to write the Title of the book and author of their quotation source. Furthermore, students will be able to decorate their notecard using imagery from their quotation source.
Below you will find an example:
“I got you to look after me, and you got me to look after you.” John Steinbeck, Of Mice and Men
We look forward to seeing which house can show the greatest number of friendship quotes!
